As part of my service-learning community with the Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom, their Reaching Critical Will Project brought me the unique opportunity to co-write articles in their newsletter, “First Committee Monitor,” which was distributed to government officials and the UN Member States. I summarized the weekly UN General Assembly First Committee (Disarmament and International Security) meeting and monitored discussions on youth and disarmament education.
